Our client is seeking a Digital Marketing Optimization consultant. The Digital Optimization Consultant is
responsible
for developing and implementing the architectural approach and merchandising of the customer experience across assigned digital channels (.com, mobile, social and email) to maximize value for the customer and improve conversion rates.

Knowledge:
Undergraduate degree is a must. MBA would be an asset
5 - 7 years' experience in the field of digital content & campaign management and optimization
Advanced knowledge of digital marketing strategies in the digital and mobile space
In-depth knowledge of internet/intranet, online user experience, ecommerce and web-based

Technology
Strong knowledge of email & social campaign optimization
Excellent knowledge and understanding of SEM/SEO, digital sales funnels, and conversion

Optimization
Excellent understanding of business objectives for digital
services
Excellent knowledge of digital customer experience and how to continually improve it using analytical data

Skills:
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to proactively identify opportunities
Highly organized, self-motivated, adept at managing change and priorities with an ability to work under tight deadlines
Superior impact and influence skills coupled with the organizational awareness and relationship building skills needed to navigate a complex matrix environment
Ability to instinctively engage others to achieve positive business outcomes and make things happen through the use of positive influence
History of making an impact, developing and executing on strategies and delivering superior results in both the short and long term
Excellent technical/project management skills
A clear understanding of an exceptional digital customer experience
Proven professional with excellent written/oral communications skills

Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Project, and Visio
Partner management and negotiation skills would be considered an asset
Financial Services industry experience an asset, but not required

Key Accountabilities
Digital Channel Optimization (55%)
Lead in driving the assigned LOB digital optimization and conversion efforts
Design and performs digital content refreshes, tool / applications launches / refreshes and conversion analyses, interpret results and develop optimization recommendations
Build optimization plans using various testing methods (A/B testing, multivariate testing, segment-based targeting, behavioral targeting, email and SEM/SEO)
Identify and lead ongoing efforts to continuously optimize digital campaigns and sites toward on-going incremental improvement in sales, lead generation and service adoption.
Analyze channel metrics to identify opportunities and areas of inefficiency in order to maximize the effectiveness and use of online products and enhance/maximize conversions/revenue
Understand traffic and conversion data (across digital platforms) and drive optimization through continuous experimentation
Ensure search (SEO/SEM) is being fully utilized thorough optimization recommendations
Strive for best-in-class customer experience for all digital properties
Ensure digital brand guidelines are followed pertaining to digital properties

Relationship Management (25%)
Manage day-to-day relationships with Digital Marketing teams to understand overall business objectives, identify opportunities and understand how digital goals can be maximized.
Collaborate with partners to develop clear business and measurement objectives and work collaboratively to optimize digital results.
Represent the Digital Channel on projects and initiatives, providing digital expertise and identify opportunities to deliver digital tools and resources that drive usage and improve sales performance
Contribute to competitive intelligence and insight into digital marketing landscape.

Change and Innovation (10%)
Contribute in the identification of opportunities and provide plans and recommendations to improve digital processes and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the channel.

Risk Management and Control (10%)
Provide subject matter input into the effectiveness of digital programs, and make changes as quickly as possible to resolve issues.
Understand requirements and monitor overall compliance to all digital policies, procedures, and brand guidelines for any/all digital properties within Financial Groups, identifying areas of concern to be completed or escalating as needed.
